V 41 Cells

We have a fair number (about 400) of V 41 cells that appear to be new stock. They all test at 3.7vdc.
We have done some load testing and they seem viable.
We will test all cells to make sure they are at voltage.
They are factory packaged.
They are rated at 41ah.

The Cells are about 2.25" in diameter and 9" tall. They weigh about 2.36# each.

The cells are being shipped in boxes of 8 for $125.
We will only sell them in the factory boxes since the cell cases are live.
Shipping is extra.

They are sold as is. You are solely responsible for safe use of these batteries.
The cell sides are covered with a plastic cover that is not labeled.
We are ordering plastic covers for the base as an extra safety precaution.

We have a fair number of these. There is a fair bit of information online about them as V41 cells.

Re: Johnson Control V 41 Cells

We have had some requests for shipping overseas.
This would have to be arranged by the buyer. We will ship "exworks" if going overseas.
Happy to assist, but we are not acquainted with the limitations for shipping lithiums out of the country.

In the continental US, we have no issues shipping.
And, we are in Searsport, Maine. You are always welcome to come and inspect and pick up in person. And perform any testing you would like.

Re: Johnson Control V 41 Cells

If You have the electronic load the DC Resistance is simple:

1.connect cell to load via ring-terminals
2. connect additional wires for voltage measurment outside the ring terminal (it is important to measure voltage outside of the current low way)
3. measure OCV voltage Uo of the cell without load (current=0A), or if You like to be in the way of IEC norm put the current Io=0,2C = 8A and measure the voltage after 10s of discharge
4. turn on the 2nd constant current...I1=1,0C = 41A
5. after 1 second measure voltage U1
6. DCR = (Uo-U1)/(I1-Io)

We can now ship smaller amounts of these cells via UPS in quantities of 8 cells per box.
Larger quantities are most affordably shipped on a pallet via truck.
