Hi All

I bought a chrashed Opel Ampera and took it apart for battery and electronics. I also got functioning EPAS.
Does anyone have any idea how Volt/Ampera power steering gets started?

1. It seems like it has one ENABLE pin that starts internal electronics when pulled high.

2. Rest of the pins are blue and white twisted wires (2 pairs) of CAN bus.

Indeed GM manual references them as GMLAN +/-.
Anyone tried to hack the EPAS then or knows the datarate for EPAS CAN?

I would like to use this rack in my EV instead of noisy and greedy HPAS pump.
