hey everyone, i was wondering if anyone has tried wrapping their dc motor intake in sheet aluminum/metal and made a cold air intake with piping? exactly like a cold air intake on those hondas you see around, withthe filter and everything. and then either just let the motor fan blow it out in another pipe leading to the floor.

my dad is about to beging his cenversion, and the first thing we need to do is maintenence his orklift motor, and i was thinking of spending a lil extra money to weather proof it so it stays cooler, and is wheather-proof so i wouldnt mind the rain, snow as much.

another consideration is removing the motor anf and have an external small 12v blower with a thermostat to activate it.
