I’m looking to put in a cutoff switch on my 144V pack. I think I want it off the positive terminal right after the semiconductor fuse. I see where people have used those red dial switches and breakers for this purpose. Is your maintenance switch the same as your manual emergency switch? How to you choose the right size switch for your pack? Thank you for your answers.

Maintenance switch would not be actuated while under power. A manual emergency switch might (in case of a short, for example).

The size of a gap necessary to prevent DC from arcing through air is relatively small.
The size of a gap necessary to quench DC from continuing to ride its plasma bridge is relatively large.

With size and spec comes cost.

I'm using the fuse/maintenance switch from a Volt pack
Before I got that with my old battery I used to use an Anderson plug/socket
