Hello, I’m new and just started doing research on what it takes to make/maintain an EV vehicle, but I saw these batteries online. They are substantially cheaper than anything else I’ve seen. I’m just wondering if I’m looking at the wrong thing or if they are just cheap because it’s a no name manufacturer from China. these are like half the price I’ve seen anywhere else so even if 30% fail it would be worth the buy. What do you guys think?

Not to bad a price but when the advert makes mistakes like Watts when it means Watt hours I get a bit nervous!

Cheapest - and highest quality is cells from a production EV

I paid $1800 for 16 kwh with a Chevy Volt Battery - a bit cheaper than the lowest of those costs and the engineering was superb
