Hello, long time reader of this forum. I have a Willys Wagon (no engine and transmission). I’m wanting to convert it to Electric preferably direct drive with no transmission but I’m open to suggestions.
I’ve been thinking doing a Tesla motor to make it AWD but obviously would have change gear ratio on the Tesla motor to get better top speed.
Once again I’m open to any suggestions

Your first lesson about using a Tesla, the choice of every noob that walks in here because they don't know any better is that will be it's a complete PITA to utilize, it's among the most expensive of conversion components, it sucks for continuous high power applications, and changing gear ratios is simply not done easily.

Read project logs here on similar vehicles to yours and the ones trying to shoehorn LDUs and you'll get a better feel of what to do.
