I don't know anything, but is this a problem worth solving ? Seems like wireless is great in theory, but in practice it amounts to extra drain, propagation and interference issues.

I assumed they were communicating outside of the battery box. Well, let's say everything is inside the battery box... what about the reflections ?

folks discussed balancing resistors in the thread. Are they actually using resistors instead of some form of active balancing ?
