Let’s say you have a Zilla controller that needed repair.
Cafe Electric handed Zilla production and support to Manzanita Micro years ago.
MM catalogs the Zillas but no mention at all of service or repair, or even of manufacturing them.
So in 2022, where can these be repaired?

With the widespread components shortages these days, it may not be repairable.

Otmar is still around, and whoever sells Zilla currently should have a repair facility. I do not know about the level of repair or the availability of components

I just talked to Rich Rudman, owner of Manzanita Micro;

• The Zillas are still in production and available.
• Your Zilla can be repaired, or upgraded. 1K to 2K was $400 (?).
• If you need help, I’d recommend calling him rather than email. 360 297 1660.
• He says he has quite a lot of info available on Facebook under Manzanita Micro Power Systems and Offroad Solar.

Really friendly, super knowledgable.
