says black on 2 and white on 1.

But I don't see anything for the "high pedal lockout" micro switch..
I've seen it on other controllers but don't see it here.

Better call the company.

 

If it's a two wire switch, it doesn't matter which wire goes on 1 or 2 so long as one goes to 1 & the other to 2. All that a switch is comprised of is two metal strips which are connected one to each wire. When you flip the switch the metal pieces are joined together, effectively becoming a single piece of metal. Flip it the other way and the two are separated.

Electrically this is the same thing as connecting a wire to terminal 1 and another to terminal 2 on the controller and touching the two together at one pedal position, then separating them as the pedal travels to the other position. Nothing more.
